IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN  ) is a major research and training player in the fields of energy, transport and the environment.

From research to industry, IFPEN provides solutions to take up the challenges facing society in terms of energy and climate around four main areas : sustainable mobility, new energies, responsible oil and gas and climate, environment and circular economy. 

For a few years, IFPEN exploits the news opportunities provided by digital technology in all its fields of activity and especially in geosciences. Thus IFPEN has developed technological innovations and new services relying on digitalization in the field of geosciences, and also in a more transverse way. Our tools and services are based on our more than 70 years of geoscience research and experiment, from micro-scale (microfossils, mineral species, …) to larger-scale (outcrop, reservoir, basin...), as well as years of development of advanced software solutions to model geological processes.
